UGA Marketing and International Business Co-major
Statement of Purpose A brief essay (300-400 words) which describes your interest in the marketing major and your future goals.If you are applying to the International Business co-major, your first-choice Statement of Purpose should describe your interest/goals in International Business and the level of foreign language you have satisfied.
I have attached two essays I wrote for another university that could give you an idea of why I am interested in studying business, but it doesn’t really talk about what this essay’s focus is, marketing. Please include objectives that a person that a person obtaining a marketing specialization would have and goals. One or two main goals would be better, which include international business and marketing together (I feel that it would be better if the goals were something that would impact the US economy in some way or another since universities may prefer having people that are interested in making the US economy better and not just obtaining a degree and leaving to another country that will not have any relation to the US instead.) ← just something I thought would be interesting but not necessarily helpful to make the essay stronger

International Business- Please indicate that I am proficient in the Spanish language. I am from San Pedro Sula, Honduras (the industrial capital of the country) My native language is Spanish. I started attending a bilingual school at the age of 4 (nursery)–18 (high school) Escuela Internacional Sampedrana. This is how I learned to speak English. Learning Arabic on my own time since my dad’s side of the family is from Israel. (include what ever you think would be necessary from this info. provided since marketing is the main focus in the essay, plus, some of the things mentioned in the international business video are important)
