Negotiation

The project is a final paper to write up about a past, an ongoing, or a future real-life negotiation. You have to pick up one or a couple of negotiations that you have faced, are currently facing, or will be facing. Obviously, you can pick up the negotiation(s) you want to discuss.

Then, you have to write up an analysis of this (these) negotiation(s) drawing from the concepts, strategies, and behaviors discussed in class. You can be as creative as you want. What’s important is for you to focus on analyzing, rather than merely describing, the negotiation(s). In particular, questions discussed could include how to prepare concretely for a future negotiation, or what you could have done differently in a prior negotiation. In short, the paper is an essay about implementing what you have learned from the class to a real-life context.
