Live music event planning:

You are to provide a system design and specification for your chosen scenario. The use of d&b Array Calc prediction software will be required to achieve greater than 49% for Assessment Criteria 1. Emphasis should be placed on appropriate array design, coverage and equipment consideration relevant to the scenario. Sharing of room data is not permitted.

The overall report should be no longer than 1500 words – diagrams and tabulate information should be used where possible(they do not count towards word count), including annotated screenshots from Array Calc for discussing your system design, placement etc. This should clearly show the SPL across the venue.

Final submission should include report in PDF format

The report should be submitted on Moodle and you will find an upload link on the module page. If you have Special Original Deadlines, please mark this clearly at the start of your report.
You will be planning for a one day festival in a marquee, measuring 30m x 20m with a stage measuring 8 x 4m (stage is centred on a 20m wall)
Details of the bands will be available on the module Moodle page.
You should detail the the desk(s) used, multicore/digital infrastructure, all equipment required including mics, stands, all cables etc. For desk and mics you should give reasons for your choices along with at least one alternative.
