Assessment of water quality changes caused by climate change in the Bristol Channel
Running land use scenarios using a water quality estuarine model (DIVAST) for the Sever Estuary, to predict diffuse pollution transport processes from agriculture. The objectives of the study will be to study natural and anthropogenic patterns of the nutrient cycles at the catchment scale.
A series of nutrient budgets resulting from different land use practices will be used as input to the estuarine model. The impact of current and potential land management practices on water quality of estuarine and coastal waters will be investigated.
